ITS BEEN A REALLY LONG TIME….SINCE MY LAST POST.

LET ME EXPLAIN….

In April of 2013 I sold the Sutton office and I am now revelling in the Real Estate World as a sales rep for the same company.  New Ownership has taken over and they are doing a nice job.  I am still with Sutton as I believe in the brand and we have moved our office downstairs to be closer to the action and make it more client friendly.  Myself, my wife Nicole,  and Nicole’s Mother,  Donna are a team and we are enjoying purely serving clients and employing the strategies, systems, and mindsets that I have been teaching for 7 years to other REALTORs.

It was an amazing experience owning the office.  It was incredibly humbling.  Incredibly Challenging at times.  Yes there was some stress.  Sometimes I felt like a “one man army”…against a huge number of opponents.  I truly believed that I would prevail.  I actually would have, but I came to a place mentally where I had a revelation….Well, I can win this “battle” with pure will, determination, creativity, luck, positivity, etc etc…..but then some questions entered my mind.

1) What would I win in the end?

2) Would it be like winning the battle but losing the war?

3) What will be the best that this business can be in Chilliwack?

4) What is the potential growth of the office in the future….in 5 years?

5) What pays me the most for the talents and experience that I have?

And after asking and then answering these questions it became absolutely obvious that I need to focus on what I do best and that is to help clients with Real Estate Buying and Selling.  I was out selling most people in the office I owned for 7 years while carrying all of those people on my shoulders….well imagine what I could do if I unloaded that weight?

Selling the office was not “giving up’.  It was giving in so that I could go up.  Make sense? These questions helped me get there mentally.

Sometimes we have to take stock of where we are at and truly and honestly analyze our motivations.  We should continually make sure that we are on track with the proper rudders that steer our lives.

Well in 9 months we hit our 12 month goals for 2014!

We are on track to blow our goals out of the water for 2015 and the market is on the upswing in Chilliwack.  We are positioned perfectly to take advantage of that.  Over 60%of our business came from referrals last year!  Referrals from other out of town REALTORS and past clients.  We “double ended” 30% of our listings last year! Our database is rich and full of high quality clients that we enjoy working with.  This is the REALTOR dream and we are living it.

These are good stats!!
